California 305 Sprint Series

Key Updates for the 2026 Season

Officials would like to thank all drivers, teams, and supporters for their patience as preparations continue for the 2026 season. With several changes impacting racing in California, decisions were made with the best interests of competitors, teams, and the long-term success of the series in mind.

The series will be IMCA sanctioned for the 2026 season, with Alicia Garges serving as Promoter and Race Director. RaceSaver Rules and Regulations will be fully enforced at all events. Competitors are strongly encouraged to review the RaceSaver Rules at www.racesaver.com. A full series rulebook will be released in the coming weeks; however, RaceSaver compliance is the most important requirement at this time.

All drivers must be registered with IMCA prior to the first race of the season. This includes:

IMCA membership

Sealed engine

IMCA hard card

Valid IMCA license

These requirements will be checked, and all drivers must be in full compliance.

Drivers Under 18

Drivers under the age of 18 must meet all IMCA requirements prior to competition. This includes submitting a notarized parental consent form, a copy of the driver’s birth certificate, and any additional required documentation. Drivers must be 14 years of age by August 31 to compete. Drivers aged 13–15 must also submit a recap of racing experience and a list of tracks they will compete at. All youth applications are subject to IMCA approval and must be completed before competition — no exceptions.

2026 Tentative Schedule

A tentative schedule for the 2026 season has been released to help teams plan ahead. While dates may change or be added, the series is confident in releasing the schedule at this time. The absence of Hanford is understood, and while future opportunities remain possible, no confirmation exists for the upcoming season.

Winner’s Purse Increased

Beginning in 2026, the race winner will earn $1,000, courtesy of series sponsor Quick Change Liquid Energy. The series extends its sincere appreciation to all sponsors who supported the 2025 season and continue their commitment into 2026.

Additional announcements and updates will be shared in the coming weeks and months. Teams and drivers are encouraged to stay connected through MyRacePass, our website california305sprints.com and social media for the latest information.
